Adult Fox in Print
This print is taken from my 2025 oil painting Protect — the third in a fox trio alongside Pounce and Pause. While the cubs were playing in our Sheffield neighbour’s garden that afternoon, one of their parents stayed close by. I’d been focused on photographing the cubs, but at some point I noticed the adult standing back a short distance, watching me intently. That still, alert quality was what I wanted to paint — different in tone to the cubs but part of the same story.
The original has sold, but this print captures every detail of the piece.
