Fox Cub in Print
This print comes from my 2025 oil painting Pounce — the first in a fox trio alongside Pause and Protect. It was painted from a photo I took through our kitchen window late one afternoon in Sheffield, when the vixen brought her cubs out into our neighbour’s garden for the first time. This cub was fully committed to a pounce when I got the shot. It was our first time ever seeing fox cubs and I spent a good while watching them play in the sun.
The original has sold, but this print captures every detail of the piece.
Print Details
This print is produced using fade-resistant pigment inks on Hahnemühle Pearl paper, a heavyweight archival paper with a subtle pearl lustre finish that brings out the colour and detail of the original painting. The print is designed to be framed — the 0.5 inch white border gives a clean edge and allows for standard framing without a separate mount if preferred.
