Today’s painting is a self-portrait of sorts, given that the person in the painting is actually me.
I had completely forgotten about this image until it came up in my Timehop feed.
Apparently it’s from 7 years ago, when I was on holiday in Croyde, a small town in Devon, with a lovely beach.
I liked the subdued colours, how the figure is almost a silhouette against the light of the sea and sky, and the reflection in the wet sand.
Pretty happy with how this painting turned out.
Happy bidding!
